Through the Looking-Glass or; Life in Wonderland - With shootsdownstars, thislastrequest and gnoobking. This is the tale of four star crossed - wait, wait, wait. Life isn't a fairy tale. This is the story of four twenty somethings as they attempt to navigate life and love in the big city as adults. Full of intrigue and wonder - are there roadblocks? Sure. Can they manage to get over them fully intact? We shall see.

Twist of Fate - With feelsthedead. Talked into a blind date by his faithful second in command, Will meets Jesse, and it's not long before he's intrigued by her sense of humor, and her mischievous smile, and knows he wants to see her again. He's a little nervous to feel this way again, but he's hoping things keep getting better from here.

Sound of Silence - With callhimlucky. It's a long road to recovery, but Will is adamant to be there for Christoph every step of the way.

Stolen - With callhimlucky. Relationships have always been difficult for Will, but he finds being with Christoph easy. He's falling, and hard.

The Chemistry Between Us - With lormenari. - When you know, you know, and Will knows that he wants to try to get to know Sam better. The catch? Sam's a prostitute, and wary to become involved with the introverted antiques store owner. Can Will chip away at the block around Sam's heart enough to prove that he's worth taking a chance on?

Damned If You Do - With satinandchains. - Inauspicious beginnings aside, Will finds himself captivated by Maloreigh, and it doesn't take long for the fledgling friendship to grow into more. But when a child becomes involved, can the pair weather the storm that's about to surround them, from more than one direction? And can Will come out of it unscathed - especially when Mal's family catches wind of what's going on?

Heavenly Touch - With cinnamonheat. - A random hug in the middle of a crowded street. A kiss that feels like magic. That is not normally how Will's life plays out, but when a chance encounter introduces him to Matilda - despite the unorthodox circumstances, he knows he doesn't want to let go. With her past as an art forger, and his present as an antiques dealer, the threat of discovery looms increasingly overhead. Is the relationship worth taking a risk and telling the truth?

Totally okay about the aim. I have SO many people added and barely ever say hi because I'm so paranoid that I'm being a bother. Ugh.

Will doesn't really have anything set in stone, either - just owning his shop. So, really, we could do just about anything. I'm pretty easy going when it comes to that sort of thing.

Well, that works for both of them. I have her as a cop, but I haven't actually done any precinct or shift work with her. She seems to see everyone on her off hours. Maybe I'll go find someone to bust for stabbing someone or something :D

Well, other than she's a homicide cop who's empathic and sees spirits.. I dunno what else to say. She's not very touchy with most people since touch almost completely negates her shields - especially when someone's feeling something particularly strongly.

Well... Tilda is basically a retired art forger of sorts. When she was seventeen her father talked her into painting a series of paintings, claiming that they were created by the daughter of an artist called Homer Hodge that he'd made a lot of money off (in actuality Homer is Tilda's mother, but Tilda has no idea) and she's terrified of this ever coming to light because fraud and prison and her whole family ending up homeless.

There is also the fact that in the gallery basement there is evidence that her family have been art-forgers for centuries. One generation painting so that the next can sell it, making it near impossible to uncover. But in the basement there are paintings that weren't good enough to sell.

So yeah, if they end up dating, she will be trying to hide this, but as long as she's doing that she won't be able to totally feel safe and trusting and all that good stuff with Will so it'll sort of have to come to light at some point.

LOL, no, not at all, considering I didn't know a thing about her, although now I am very interested in reading the book. I think it is very interesting, the way she'd have to hide it, and Will being very 'is it me, am I doing something wrong?' because he's very much that kind of guy.

It's a really great book and I highly recommend it. One of my all time favs!

Haha, what sparks the plot of the book is actually Tilda's Niece selling the one Scarlet paintng (Tilda painted as Scarlet Hodge) that could make the whole thing come crashing down, and then she decides to get ALL the Scarlets back and it's all full of awesome. So if you want to do some sort of variation on that at some point, we could too. Because the Scarlets are how she really paints, so it's sort of keeping her creative spirit prisoner that they're out there.
